There is a Rue St Denis in downtown New York

Rue St. Denis is a very unique vintage store. All the clothes are what is called dead stock, meaning
they have never been worn.
The variety of men's and women's clothes from the 1960's to the 1990's is mind boggling. The owners Jean-Paul Buthier and Riccardo Bonechi first opened the store in the early 90's on the upper west side. Now the store is located on Ave B and 11th Street in the East Village and they supply many clothes for the film industry. (ie. to the show the Americans.)
Riccardo and Jean-Paul are also  great stylists and help clients to put together amazing outfits with great enthusiasm and skill. Definitely worth a visit!!

  1. Great article and photos on a wonderful store-
Though calling it a store doesn't quite capture the experience of Rue St Denis -
It feels more a like a day trip to a world where effortless chic and sporty glamour
are forever percolating to create for you a new memory of a day when life was magical-
