Island Retreat

 I just spent a week with my whole family on the German Island Baltrum which is so small that no cars are allowed. Any driving services and transportation are a ferry to the mainland and horse and carriage. We came here in my childhood a lot, it was so good to revisit.
Ahh, now back to NYC, talk about contrasts.......

Monticello Horse Racetrack

Last Monday my friend Janette invited me to come along to photograph at the Monticello Racetrack and Stables. We had a great time hanging out, meeting the drivers and stable hands, watching the horses exercise, being showered afterwards and getting new custom made shoes.... It's a very picture heavy post, I couldn't help myself.
